In the afternoon of December 12, 2024, the School of Business Administration held an expert demonstration meeting for the professional direction of Business Administration (Artificial Intelligence Application) in the conference room 701 East of Wenhan Building. Five experts from outside the university and two experts from the university were invited to this expert validation meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of SBA, and Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, Prof. Hu Chuan, Vice Dean of SBA, Prof. Mao Jianghua, Director of Department of Business Administration, Associate Prof. Wang Tian, Deputy Director of Department of Marketing Management, and all the teachers of E-commerce Teaching and Research Department participated in this expert demonstration meeting.
Secretary of SBA, Mr. Yu Xiaopeng, firstly expressed his warm welcome and sincere thanks to the experts from outside and inside the university. After that, Prof. Du Xingyang, Vice Minister of Academic Affairs Department of the university, introduced the requirements and vision of the university's professional adjustment to the participating experts in detail, while Prof. Hu Chuan, Vice Dean of SBA, introduced the progress of the undergraduate professional reform work of the school.
Associate Professor Wang Tian, deputy director of the Department of Marketing Management and head of the e-commerce program, introduced the concept of the construction of the Business Administration (Artificial Intelligence Application) program to the participating experts in detail from the aspects of necessity and how to build it. Professor Mao Jianghua, Director of the Department of Business Administration, put forward detailed optimization suggestions for professional positioning, construction plan and curriculum system design.
After listening to the conception of the construction of Business Administration (Artificial Intelligence Application) professional direction, five experts from outside the university made speeches respectively and put forward optimization suggestions on the details of the construction and implementation of the new professional direction and the curriculum system of the cultivation program.
Finally, Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, summarized the expert validation meeting on the professional direction of Business Administration (Artificial Intelligence Application), expressed his sincere thanks to the five external experts, and asked the E-Commerce Teaching and Research Department to further refine the construction plan of the professional direction of Business Administration (Artificial Intelligence Application) according to the optimization opinions of the experts.
