The Alumni Symposium on Digital Intelligence Innovation and High-Quality Development of Business Administration was Successfully Held

On the afternoon of 26th October, the Department of Business Administration held the "Alumni Symposium on Digital Intelligence Innovation and High-Quality Development of the Business Administration Discipline."



Yu Xiaopeng, Party Secretary of the School of Business Administration(SBA), Emeritus Professors Li Shaohe and Wang Jiyun from the Department of Business Administration, Vice Deans Hu Chuan and Shi Junwei, Professor Xiong Shengxu, who has honorably served for 30 years in the Department of Business Administration, and Professor Mao Jianghua, Head of the Department of Business Administration, attended the symposium. The symposium was chaired by Associate Professor Liu Wentong.


During the event, Professor Hu Chuan introduced to the participants the historical breakthroughs made by the business discipline in the new round of discipline evaluation, as well as the opportunities and challenges brought by the era of digital intelligence to the business discipline.



Next, Professor Mao Jianghua summarized the future challenges and opportunities into four key themes, inviting the experts in attendance to engage in a brainstorming session.



The third item on the agenda was the presentation of flowers to retired and 30-year veteran faculty members of the Department of Business Administration.



The fourth session of the symposium was a forum for exchange. Professor Shi Junwei expressed the hope that alumni could communicate more with their alma mater, and the business department should also address the real problems and needs of the alumni.



The alumni shared their opinions on how to strengthen the discipline construction of business administration.



Faculty members also offered suggestions on the development of the business administration profession from different perspectives.



Finally, Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business Administration, made a concluding speech, stressing the importance of discipline reform and calling on the school to cultivate professional business talents to meet the needs of the new era.



In the tide of digital intelligent change, the discipline of business administration will embrace the future with a more open attitude, constantly pursue high-quality development, and make unremitting efforts to train outstanding talents in line with the needs of the times.
